John Mader
John Mader is frustration incarnate. He is the “every man” armed with a microphone.
Too short to play pro basketball and too tall to be a circus midget. Neither exceptional nor awful, just average, John has been in the middle all his life and now he is in the middle of comedy.
John has played clubs like Carolines Comedy Club in New York City, the Improv and every place in between. He has worked with a number of celebrities, including Dennis Miller, Christina Applegate, Courteney Cox, Billy Joel, John Mayer, Diana Krall and David Grohl. In addition he has performed with the well known comics Lewis Black, Jim Breuer and Dave Attell and many others.
After winning the MGM/UNITED ARTISTS Larger Than Life National Talent Competition and working for Disney, Warner Brothers and Fox Studios, John has come to one simple conclusion: He wants to start a revolution one comedy club at a time because everybody in the middle gets screwed and it is time to say “we won’t take it any more”.
If he can’t do that then he will settle for being surrounded by hookers and booze on a desert island, which ever comes first
